Headache Cures
If there is one thing I know a lot about it is headache cures. My
brother fought with mind numbing headaches for close to ten years before
the doctors figured out what was going on with him. In the end it turned
out to be his sinuses, and he had a rare condition that needed surgery
to repair. Before we knew what was going on, however, he had to do
whatever he could to get rid of the pain in his head. I saw just about
everything he tried. Some things worked, but many of them only worked
for a little while and then he’d be back to square one.
His headache cures started out simple enough. He would try the usual
pain relievers you would find on the shelves at the pharmacy. They
worked for a while, but then would stop working and he’d have to take
more to get some relief. He then had to try stronger brands, and even
went to his doctor about prescription headache cures that he could try.
They too worked for a little while and then would no longer be
effective. You can imagine how frustrating that was for him.
He went into the hospital for a barrage of tests when all of his
headache cures seemed to fail. They tested for cancers and tumors, and
they did every other test they could think of. Nothing came up, and his
doctors were eternally baffled. They gave him some headache cures that
were only given to patients in extreme pain, but those again only worked
for a short while. He tried every home remedy he could find and admitted
that there were moments when he felt like he couldn’t take it any more.
In the end the ultimate headache cures did not work, but surgery did. He
was fine for a while, but he will have to have surgery every five years
in order to keep the headaches from getting bad again, but he is
thankful that he does not have to suffer like he once did. He is the
authority on headache cures though, and quite often people call him for
advice. He thinks it’s rather funny at times, but he doesn’t mind
helping out. If anyone knows what it is like to not be able to get rid
of a headache, it’s him. He is thankful that his headaches were not a
brain tumor or something worse, so giving out advice is a minor
irritation.
